Description

Located just 2.5 miles from the traditional seaside town of North Berwick, Balgone Coach House is a beautifully furnished pet friendly property. With 5 bedrooms and a private garden it is the perfect spot for a family trip away.

Location
As soon as you arrive you will immediately be away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, as Balgone Coach House is located on an agricultural estate where there are plenty of walks on offer. There is also lots to do in the local area, from golfing to fishing, plus, if you do fancy reconnecting with civilisation, the Scottish capital city of Edinburgh is just 30 minutes by train. If you don't fancy travelling too far however, this property benefits from a private garden, as well as a BBQ and outdoor furniture, ideal for al fresco family meals on warm summer evenings.

Living area
The sitting area is perfect for a family film night, with Sky and Netflix on offer as well as a Sonos sound system. The wood-burning stove and comfortable sofas also help create a cosy atmosphere! Adjacent to the sitting area is a traditional wooden dining table seating up to 10 guests, while the spacious kitchen has all the appliances for your self-catering break. With two fridge/freezers, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine you won't need to go anywhere!

2 x double bedrooms with super king size beds which can be split into twin beds if required
2 x twin bedrooms, all of which can be joined together as super king beds if required
*Please note the 5th bedroom, sleeping 2 additional guests, is located across the cobbled courtyard and only has access to a bathroom in the main house*

Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG, the digital insurance trust platform that enables hosts and guests to confidently transact in the short-term holiday rental space. Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify your identity. If you want to take advantage of this free insurance, please make sure your verification is completed prior to check-in.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can opt to pay a £500 damage deposit 7 days directly with us before arrival. Your deposit will be held during your stay and refunded 5 days after departure, subject to an inspection of the property.

Interior layout

The property is accessed from the side of the house, which takes you into the boot room. Off the boot room is a large downstairs shower room and laundry / utility area. From the boot room you can also access the large open plan kitchen with island unit to dining and lounge area - a great entertaining space! From the dining / lounge area there are also patio doors out to a front patio with seating area. A spiral staircase takes you up to the upper level where there are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - one a shower over bath and one a separate shower.
