Templar Cottage is a stylish Victorian building decorated with a wonderful golfing theme throughout. This beautiful three bedroom cottage overlooks the Gullane practice golf course and the grand Lammermuir Hills beyond. Whether you are a professional, amateur or just love playing the game, Templar Cottage is perfect for golfers. Centrally located in the charming village of Gullane, which is famous for the Muirfield Golf Course, and certainly not forgetting the 3 challenging courses - Gullane #1, #2 and #3. There are 16 well known golf courses in the surrounding towns of East Lothian, many of which are Links and international qualifying courses.
For non-golfers and family holiday makers, you can take time to enjoy the peaceful and picturesque scenery along the beautiful walks in and around the immediate area. For dog walkers, ramblers and nature lovers you could not be in a better location. Amble down to the Gullane Bents beach and be captivated by the beautiful shoreline and endless rolling waves. For those wanting to venture further afield, the seaside town of North Berwick is only 3.5 miles away while the city of Edinburgh is 23 miles by car, or 35 minutes on the train from North Berwick.
During the summer months of July and August, our bookings run Saturday to Saturday and the rate is based on a minimum of 7 nights. All other months can be booked from a minimum 4 nights.

The cottage has just been renovated and is beautiful. This area takes up the first floor of the cottage and is very spacious and quite unique. One of the best features is the distinctive Victorian wall which gives the room a timeless feeling of the Victorian age, but with flourishes of modern-day essentials and comforts. The fully equipped open plan kitchen has a cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave, dishwasher and washing machine and all the essential items for self-catering. The dining table is set in a grand spot with striking views.
Bathrooms:
The first bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom which has a bath, shower, wash hand basin and w/c.
There is also a separate shower room, which has wash hand basin and w/c.
Outside:
There is parking clearly marked out beside the cottage. Templar Cottage is centrally located in Gullane within easy walking distance of all the Gullane golf courses.
General:
Central heating, electricity, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rental.

You are welcome to bring 2 well behaved dogs - we know how wonderful the walks are around Gullane and of course the beach! Please note there is a small additional charge of £30.00 per dog
