Located a few hundred yards from the bustling High Street, you couldn’t be better placed to enjoy everything this seaside town has to offer. You’ll be spoilt for choice with an abundance of independent shops, restaurants, cafes and boutiques, award-winning butchers, and bakers - you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips, including the railway station providing an hourly service, 25 minutes to the centre of Edinburgh.

The property offers 3 bedrooms, a family bathroom featuring a jet bath, separate walk-in shower room, and powder room. It also has a separate dining room (seating up to 8 guests), living room, beautiful kitchen with all brand new appliances and quartz worktops. There is also a roomy conservatory leading out to the private backyard, where there is parking for 2 cars. Most rooms benefit from period details and high ceilings typical in houses from the Victorian period, thus contributing to the accommodation being spacious, light, tastefully furnished, and very comfortable. In terms of its prime location and luxurious condition, this property offers a unique rental opportunity.

East Lothian, the golfer’s paradise, isn’t called Scotland’s Golf Coast without good reason. This is home to some of the world’s greatest links, including the largest concentration of Championship courses anywhere in the world, such as Muirfield, The Renaisssance Club and Gullane – all just a short drive away, and North Berwick West Links is right on your doorstep. East Lothian has an incomparable selection of courses to suit golfers of all standards.

A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager.

Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify your identity. If you want to take advantage of this free insurance, please make sure your verification is completed prior to check-in.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can opt to pay a £200 damage deposit 7 days directly with us before arrival. Your deposit will be held during your stay and refunded 5 days after departure, subject to an inspection of the property.

Well, we definitely recommend a stay at Sandacres! My husband and I visited in April 2022 and the house was wonderful. We had originally planned to use it as a base camp as we explored Edinburgh and the surrounding area, but after seeing the house and exploring North Berwick, we instantly changed our plans. We didn’t want to leave!

The house was fantastic – plenty of room, beautiful design, and a great kitchen! We travelled to the nearby Brand Family Farm Shop (was about 10 minutes by car), stocked up on all of their veg and cheese and then, between meals, spent our days enjoying the house, the town, the beach and the view. We also did a day trip to St Abbs. Great for a good walk and an amazing view.

Loved the design of the house - high ceiling rooms, huge windows, and an excellent conservatory for coffees in the morning, whisky in the evening.

If you’re a fan of golf, it’s the perfect home base. Historic pictures of the courses (even the front gate has golf clubs), and it’s on the main street, so you don’t have to tackle the hill while carrying your golf clubs.

Definitely hoping to return!
