Inside, high ceilings and period details give a fine sense of space and light. There are three bedrooms, a family bathroom with jet bath, a separate walk-in shower room and a powder room, along with a separate dining room seating up to eight, an elegant living room, a beautiful kitchen with brand new appliances and quartz worktops, and a roomy conservatory opening to the garden.
Golfers are spoilt here: North Berwick West Links is on the doorstep, with Muirfield, The Renaissance Club and Gullane a short drive away. The railway station's hourly service reaches central Edinburgh in twenty-five minutes. WiFi included.
“Well, we definitely recommend a stay at Sandacres! My husband and I visited in April 2022 and the house was wonderful. We had originally planned to use it as a base camp as we explored Edinburgh and the surrounding area, but after seeing the house and exploring North Berwick, we instantly changed our plans. We didn't want to leave! The house was fantastic, plenty of room, beautiful design, and a great kitchen! We travelled to the nearby Brand Family Farm Shop (was about 10 minutes by car), stocked up on all of their veg and cheese and then, between meals, spent our days enjoying the house, the town, the beach and the view. We also did a day trip to St Abbs. Great for a good walk and an amazing view. Loved the design of the house - high ceiling rooms, huge windows, and an excellent conservatory for coffees in the morning, whisky in the evening. If you're a fan of golf, it's the perfect home base. Historic pictures of the courses (even the front gate has golf clubs), and it's on the main street, so you don't have to tackle the hill while carrying your golf clubs. Definitely hoping to return!”
