Rock End is a quirky detached holiday home on the outskirts of the historic fishing village of Seahouses, just an eight-minute walk from the bustling harbour, shops, cafés and restaurants. Perfect for couples, this charming coastal retreat offers stunning views of the sea and harbour, making it an ideal base for exploring the spectacular Northumberland coastline and the Farne Islands.

Designed with both comfort and character in mind, the ground floor boasts a bright, nautically inspired open-plan living space, complete with underfloor heating and floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the room with natural light. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything needed for a relaxing self-catering stay, including a full-size fan oven with grill, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer, fridge with ice box. A bespoke dining table, crafted from three reclaimed ship's capstans, creates a unique focal point, while the inviting living area, complete with a wall-mounted Smart TV, provides a welcoming space to relax and make the most of your stay.

The ground floor also features a spacious shower room with a generous walk-in shower, together with a separate porch offering convenient storage for coats and outdoor clothing.

A striking spiral staircase leads to the first-floor bedroom, where a sumptuous king-size bed sits beneath floor-to-ceiling windows, framing spectacular east-facing views. Wake each morning to the sunrise over the sea before enjoying the comfort of a beautifully appointed bedroom, complete with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a wall-mounted Smart TV.

Please note that all bedding, linens and towels are provided; however, they are not hypoallergenic.

Although Rock End does not have its own private garden, guests are welcome to enjoy the front garden of the adjoining property, Gun Rock. From here, you can take in breathtaking panoramic views stretching from Bamburgh Castle across the Farne Islands to Seahouses Harbour. With outdoor seating provided, it's the perfect place to sit and enjoy unforgettable sunsets over the Northumberland coast.

Seahouses is renowned as the gateway to the Farne Islands, where boat trips offer the chance to see puffins, seabirds and grey seals in their natural habitat. The village itself boasts beautiful sandy beaches, independent shops, welcoming pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as family attractions such as crazy golf.

This property is pet friendly and welcomes 1 well-behaved dog. There is a charge of £30 for your pet per booking.

To make a booking, you can book directly through this site. All you need to do is select your dates and the number of guests. The price will be calculated for you. You are required to pay a 20% deposit payment with a minimum payment of £150.00 or higher, which secures the property. This payment is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Then, 42 days prior to your arrival date, the balance will be payable with a separate refundable damage deposit of £150.00 due 7 days before your arrival date. Your refundable damage deposit will be held until you depart and then automatically refunded back onto your card within the week after you depart
