This unique detached home is one of only a handful of properties in this sought-after area which have not been spilt into apartments. Sitting on an elevated aspect and accessed by a long sweeping driveway, St Aidans offers amazing panoramic views over the Firth of Forth. The property has been substantially renovated and upgraded to offer a flexible, modern living space.

Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG, the digital insurance trust platform that enables hosts and guests to confidently transact in the short-term holiday rental space. Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify your identity. If you want to take advantage of this free insurance, please make sure your verification is completed prior to check-in.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can opt to pay a £800 damage deposit 7 days directly with us before arrival. Your deposit will be held during your stay and refunded 5 days after departure, subject to an inspection of the property.

Please also note complimentary mid stay cleans (including the provision of fresh linen and towels) will be provided as follows:
Bookings for 14-21 nights will receive one mid stay clean
Bookings for 21-28 nights will receive two mid stay cleans

Interior layout

Ground Floor
The large hallway leads to the open plan dining room, family room and “Whiskey” lounge. Situated across the front of the property these rooms offer stunning panoramic views across North Berwick West Golf Course and on to the Firth of Forth. Hardwood floors abound and continue through to the superb kitchen which benefits from an AGA with additional electric hob (fully equipped including a microwave). There is a polished granite work surface throughout, a wood burning stove and two integrated fridges and freezers and a large family dining table. Additional features include 2 WC’s at each end of the ground floor plus a laundry room with washing machine and Miele dryer and ample space for boots and coats.

First Floor
The original drawing room has been converted into a state-of-the-art cinema room with full electric projector screen and surround sound system; it is the ideal place to kick back and watch a movie. Feel free to log into your Netflix account or use the Sky service at the property. The first floor also houses the master double bedroom with en suite bathroom and three further double bedrooms, two of which have access to a bathroom via separate doors. The other bedrooms sleeps four guests with twin beds, and trundle single beds beneath and also has an en suite bathroom and shower. All bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and have plenty of storage and hanging space.

Second Floor
The second-floor accommodation comprises of two additional double bedrooms, one of which has a zip and link king bed, with en suite bathrooms. Both bedrooms have been decorated to a high standard in keeping with the rest of the property. This floor can be conveniently accessed by guests using the secondary staircase. There is also a casual seating area and writing desk for guests who wish to find a quiet place to relax.


St Aidans is approached through front gates adjacent to the main road and up the driveway to a parking and turning area. The garden to the front slopes away from the house and has a terraced lawn which can be accessed through double doors onto a tiled patio where a table seating area is the perfect location to watch the stunning sunsets. At the rear of the house there are two tiered lawns and a large outside dining table as well as use of a barbeque. The owners also have private access to the Broad Sands beach via a key coded gate.
