The main street's shops and restaurants are a two-minute walk away, Gullane Bents beach ten minutes on foot, and sixteen golf courses, including Muirfield, lie along this celebrated stretch of coast. North Berwick and its Edinburgh trains are a short drive along the shore.

There are several places to eat within easy walking distance and some nice shops in the village. We were in the area to play golf but there are lots of other things to do nearby if golf isn't your thing. The secure garden was an unexpected bonus especially on sunny days.”
