Lynn Cottage is a quaint 2 bedroom cottage located in the lovely village of East Linton. The property is beautifully furnished, neat and spacious and has views from the back overlooking the peaceful scenery of Drylaw Farm and neighbouring countryside.
The cottage is all on one level with a private garden front and back. There is patio garden furniture for enjoying al fresco dining with an outlook over the open fields

Living room:
Relax in the living room which has a distinctive country cottage theme. There are plenty of seats should you wish to invite family or guests over to join you. There is a large comfy sofa, and 2 fire side arm chairs, plus a dining table. For your entertainment there is a flat screen TV, free WIFI and a wood burning stove for extra cozy evenings

This kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker and gas hob, full sized fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, and all the kitchen utensils you will require

Secure garden, which is perfect for children or dogs and overlooks the field. There is garden table and chairs and a BBQ for your use during those warmer days. Lynn cottage has plenty of cottage charm and we think perfect for a romantic holiday break, or family holiday.

There is also a lovely garden room with a comfortable sofa/daybed, drop leaf table and electric heater, the perfect place to have your evening whisky or G&T.

Central heating, electricity, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rental.
Pet friendly
You are welcome to bring 2 well behaved dogs. There is a small charge of £30.00 per dog per week

To make a booking you can book directly through this site. All you need to do is select your dates and the number of guests. The price will be calculated for you . You are required to pay a 20% deposit payment with a minimum payment of £150.00 or higher which secures the property, this payment is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. Then, 42 days prior to your arrival date the balance will be payable with a separate refundable damage deposit of £150.00 due 7 days before your arrival date. Your refundable damage deposit will be held until you depart and then automatically refunded back onto your card within the week after you depart

“Gorgeous cottage and fabulous location”
I stayed in Lynn Cottage earlier this month and have already recommended it to several family members and friends. It is a gem. Having arrived tired and in need of restoration I returned home from a six day trip to this lovely nook in East Lothian refreshed and relaxed. It is spotlessly clean, well equipped and cosy. The village of East Linton is picture post card pretty and the nearby coastal walks just beautiful. Book up before the cottage fills up, it's just 40 minutes out of Edinburgh and is pet friendly too.....I'll be back! (Property guestbook)

What a beautiful place ... Brilliant holiday.
We stayed in Lynn cottage, the cottage is situated in a small village south of Edinburgh called East Linton, beautiful. East Linton has local shops, a butchers and a small cafe. The Crown pub serves excellent food. All amenities a short walk from the cottage.
The cottage has a 5* rating from us, excellent facilities all mod cons. Very clean and well cared for.
There are bus links to Edinburgh and surrounding area. You are a short distance from local beaches and villages. The John Muir Way passes at the back of the cottage. North Berwick is a short bus / car journey - beautiful - well worth a visit .... Lots to do in Edinburgh ... We caught the bus from the park and ride just outside the city, very easy to park. Thoroughly enjoyed this holiday we have taken away some very fond memories.
