Description
The Gulls is a fantastic beachside self catering holiday home in North Berwick, in one of the most enviable positions on the seafront with uninterrupted sea views across to the Kingdom of Fife. Guests have direct access to the West Beach through a private gate located at the side of the building. Described as 'immaculate and spacious' by our guests, we think the unforgettable views, generously proportioned rooms and great location all make this lovely holiday home; one to return to again and again.
1st Floor:
Sitting room:
The spacious sitting room has a wonderful view over the West Bay, North Berwick harbour and Craigleith Island in the Firth of Forth. On a clear day the shores of The Kingdom of Fife can been seen and, when night falls, you can still hear the sound of the sea.
Dining room:
The dining room has a table which seats 8 and has fine sea views across North Berwick Bay.
Sun Lounge:
The sun lounge is probably the main feature of this apartment. This space offers the perfect spot for relaxing and watching the constant changes on the coastline. In warmer weather there is a small patio off the sun lounge, offering the chance to sit in privacy, yet close to the beach.
Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a gas range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and breakfast table.
Bedrooms:
On the 1st floor there is a south facing double bedroom.
2nd Floor:
Two twin bedrooms and one double bedroom, two of which enjoy very fine sea views. Please note in this double bedroom the bed is quite high off the floor - around 40cm.
Bathroom:
Bathroom with bath, walk in shower, w/c and wash hand basin. (located on 2nd floor)
There is a shower room, w/c and wash hand basin and also an extra, separate w.c. (located on 1st floor)
There is also a private courtyard area which leads directly to the beach.
Access to the property is by a short, private road with one parking space for guests staying at The Gulls. Please note that, if you are bringing more than one car, public parking in North Berwick can be complex as the rules vary according to season and year to year. We recommend following the signs upon arrival in North Berwick and also advise considering your options for this prior to check-in as it is unfortunately something we are not able to assist with on the day

Central heating, electricity, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rental.

North Berwick is a wonderful seaside town and well located for the best that Scotland has to offer. With breath-taking views along the Firth of Forth and the tiny islands of Bass Rock, Lamb, Fidra and Craigleith, it offers an unforgettable holiday destination. Its vibrant high street, with its range of cafes, restaurants and stylish independent shops is a great place to browse. The beach is at the heart of the town and the charming harbour area, with its pretty beach huts and colourful boats really adding to the seaside atmosphere. Must-see destinations nearby include The Scottish Seabird Centre, The National Museum of Flight, Tantallon Castle and of course, a day trip to the beautiful capital of Scotland.

To make a booking you can book directly through this site. All you need to do is select your dates and the number of guests. The price will be calculated for you . You will then be required to pay a minimum of £150.00 as part payment, which is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. Then, 42 days prior to your arrival date the balance will be payable with a separate refundable damage deposit of £250.00 due 7 days before your arrival date. Your refundable damage deposit will be held until you depart and then automatically refunded back onto your card within the week after you depart
Please note we do not accept stag/hen parties or groups of young people without an adult of 25 years old staying in the apartment throughout the stay.

Once in North Berwick turn onto Forth Street; continue past 'The Auld Hoose' pub, Lorne Square is on the left hand side. This is a very small access road and difficult to manoeuvre a large vehicle. Please park directly infront of number one. VERY STRICTLY ONLY ONE VEHICLE SPACE.

We stayed in this fantastic apartment for a week in April. I can't recommend it highly enough. We were there with my two year old and one year old and the accommodation was incredibly family friendly with a cot and high chair provided. The views were absolutely stunning, and the location ideal with private beach access. There's loads to do in the area for all ages, and we are already desperate to return. Many thanks The Gulls!
