Most of our holiday properties are within walking distance of a beach, perfect for playing, building sandcastles, flying kites and splashing in the water. There is even an outdoor boating pond on North Berwick's East Beach, ideal for paddling.
If it is the great outdoors you are looking for, we have it in abundance, with miles upon miles of beautiful beaches, perfect for picnics, rock pooling or dog walks along the sandy bays.
There are lots of places to visit, from castles to farm parks. You can even try your hand at wakeboarding at Scotland's first cable wakeboard park, Foxlake, near Dunbar.
Great children's play parks suit tots right through to teens, including the Lodge Grounds and the Recreation Park. Lauderdale Park in Dunbar sits within a walled garden, complete with a cafe for coffee and cakes.
There are many walks suitable for all capabilities. North Berwick Law and Traprain Law near East Linton are volcanic plugs, very easy to climb and rewarded with wonderful views over the coast.

A beautiful wooded area with a great children's play area and lovely walks through the trees, set on the shore of the Firth of Forth on the outskirts of Dirleton. Reach it by car, or walk along the beach from North Berwick.
Two minutes from the High Street, with an outdoor boating pond next to the Scottish Seabird Centre, this is an easy family favourite.
A beautiful, private bay beach with parking available, on the main route from North Berwick heading for the A1 south. You will find it on a sharp bend just after Tantallon Castle.
A great play park sits next to East Links Family Park, with a large climbing frame, a flying fox and all the usual big outdoor equipment, plus room for a barbecue and a large free car park. The beach itself stretches as far as the eye can see.
In wet weather the Scottish Seabird Centre is certainly worth a visit. Work your way round the different Discovery Centre zones, where interactive live cameras zoom in on the wildlife on the Firth of Forth islands.
There are also plenty of indoor soft play areas at North Berwick Sports Centre and in Dunbar, providing the utmost in aquatic fun with a flume, wave machine and water features. Haddington Sports Centre has a dedicated children's pool, ideal for kids learning to swim.
