Grassicks Cottage began its life as the gardener’s residence for Luffness and has since been transformed into a charming and picturesque 3-bedroom retreat. Nestled on the edge of Aberlady Bay - home to a nature reserve and some of the best waterfront views this coastline has to offer. The nearby coastal conservation villages of Aberlady and Gullane are easily accessible and sit at the heart of Scotland’s renowned Golf Coast, home to some of the world’s finest links courses. This family holiday home has been carefully appointed, combining warm, traditional interiors and comforts that promise a memorable stay.

Living Space
The open-plan living room, dining area, and kitchen offer a charming and spacious setting, perfect for socialising and entertaining. With its authentic wooden beams, open fire, cosy log-burning stove, and an array of original features, this inviting space exudes warmth and character - an ideal retreat to sit back and relax.

Kitchen
The bright and spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for effortless self-catering. Modern integrated appliances, including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, and the all-important coffee machine —so you can cook, dine, and unwind with ease!

Bedrooms
The property features 3 generously sized double bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed for comfort. All rooms offer ample storage space with spacious wardrobes and a chest of drawers. Bedroom 1 has an en-suite shower facility.

A modern, fully tiled shower room features a spacious walk-in shower for a luxurious experience.

Family Bathroom

General
This property is pet friendly and welcomes up to 2 well-behaved dogs. There is a £30 charge for each pet.

To make a booking you can book directly through this site. All you need to do is select your dates and the number of guests. The price will be calculated for you. You are required to pay a 20% deposit payment with a minimum payment of £150.00 or higher which secures the property, this payment is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Then, 42 days prior to your arrival date the balance will be payable with a separate refundable damage deposit of £150.00 due 7 days before your arrival date. Your refundable damage deposit will be held until you depart and then automatically refunded back onto your card within the week after you depart.

Please also note this property is strictly non-smoking and does not accept any parties, including stag and hen groups.

Luffness sits conveniently between Aberlady and Gullane, both of which offer an array of pubs and restaurants within easy reach. The cottage is ideally situated at the edge of the bay, providing direct access to stunning walks right on your doorstep. This shoreline is a nationally significant refuge for thousands of geese during the autumn months. Their arrival, as they soar in to roost on the mudflats, is an incredible spectacle. The area boasts diverse natural beauty, including marshes, beaches, and the rugged coastline of the Firth of Forth.

Located in the heart of prime golfing country, the region features eleven welcoming golf courses. Aberlady is home to the renowned Kilspindie Links, a must-play for enthusiasts of Scottish golf. To the northeast of the village lies Luffness New Golf Club, a championship-links course celebrated for its challenging play and stunning scenery.
