Tigh Na Mara is a stunning, spacious ground floor apartment next to the golden sandy beach - you couldn't get any closer to the beach unless you were on it! At the back of the property is a large area of grassland which is great for children to spend hours playing. The Glen Golf Course is 100 metres from the back door and North Berwick West Links is a 5 minute drive away.

Tigh Na Mara has been in the same family since 1886 and was completely refurbished and upgraded in 2017 whilst retaining many original features. The sitting room, master bedroom, and 2nd bedroom, with their magnificent high ceilings, retain their original character while the bathrooms, kitchen, garden room and 3rd bedroom bring a contemporary look and feel making Tigh Na Mara a home to suit everyone.

Sitting Room:
The sitting room is an impressive room with a bay window giving breathtaking views onto the beach, Firth of Forth, Bass Rock and beyond. It is furnished with sofas and a television and DVD player. There is a large dining table in the bay window with seating for eight guests - this really is dining with a view! An assortment of DVDs and games are provided for evenings and those rare days when the weather is really too bad to venture out.

Bedrooms:
3 Bedrooms - Sleeps 6 plus 2
The master bedroom is spacious with a king sized bed, ample storage and en suite shower room. It has amazing sea views - just imagine waking up every morning to the sound of the waves on the shore.
There is a flat screen TV.

There are two twin bedrooms each with two single beds and plenty of storage.

There is a sofa bed in the sitting room which will sleep an additional two guests. Please let us know if you would like to use this. An additional charge of £50.00 will be payable.

Bathrooms:
The family bathroom is spacious with bath, an overhead shower, WC and basin.
The en suite, off the master bedroom, has an overhead shower, WC and basin.
Both bathrooms have underfloor heating.

Kitchen:
The kitchen has wonderful natural light, is fitted with stylish kitchen units and is fully equipped with a gas hob, double electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There are plenty of kitchen accessories, whether you want to make a three course meal, bake a cake, prepare a picnic or simply microwave a ready meal.

Garden Room:
The kitchen is open plan with the south facing garden room which has a wall mounted flat screen TV and comfy seating. There is a dining table which will seat up to 8 guests. There are large sliding doors which open onto a secure patio garden which is a sun trap - perfect for the little ones and of course for adults to relax with a glass of wine and soak up the sun. The gate opens on to the 'back links' or 'Coo's Green' which is a large, safe area of grassland, perfect for children.

Utility Cupboard
There is a utility cupboard with washing machine, tumble dryer and the central heating boiler. It has slatted shelves ideal for drying shoes and wellies.

Outside:
There is a private garden to the front and a private, south facing patio to the rear. From the front garden you can step across the road to the beach and from the rear you have access to 'Coo's Green'. There is private, off street parking for two cars.

Suitability:
Perfect for families, couples and of course golfers. Golf clubs and tennis rackets are available to hire on request.

General:
Central heating, electricity, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rental. To confirm a booking you will be required to pay a minimum of £100.00 part payment excluding any card charges. Thirty days prior to your arrival the balance together with your damage deposit of £150.00 will be due.

This is one of our pet friendly and very child friendly properties. Free high chair and travel cot provided. There is a charge of £30 per pet.

Tigh Na Mara has the perfect location - right on the beach front overlooking the East Bay or as we know it Milsey Bay. Nestling in a row of Victorian terraced houses, it is only 100 metres from the Glen Golf Club. It is 10 minutes walk from the house to the town centre walking along the coast line to the harbour and then left into the town centre.

Location, location, location! Fabulous bright, airy holiday home in the most perfect setting right on the beach. Just adored the views and the sound of the sea. Definitely gets 10 out of 10 from us. Already planning next year!
